Mobileye N.V, in partnership with Siemens V.D.O, now Continental AG, has successfully developed and launched multiple functionalities for BMW AG on several key vehicles.
In 2007 the new 5 Series launched with a Mobileye based Lane Departure Warning system. This feature was rolled out to the updated 6 Series in 2008.  BMW is the first European automotive manufacturer to provide intelligent forward-looking camera technology for driver assistance - warning motorists before they drift inattentively across lane markings.

In 2008 Mobileye launched the world's first triple-feature package on the new BMW 7 series luxury sedan. For the first time, Lane Departure Warning, Speed Limit Information (traffic sign detection) and Intelligent Headlight Control running on the acclaimed Mobileye EyeQ multi-core vision processor had been brought into production. Whilst other OEM suppliers have also launched Lane Departure Warning with Speed Limit Information, none other than Mobileye have combined the Intelligent Headlight Control feature with its conflicting camera control requirements and other functionalities.
